Some Remarks on Dependence Among the Consistency Tests

Czesław Domański, Dariusz Parys · 1994

The analysis of statistical tests properties from the point of view of their applications, besides the power, also concerns dependence among their test functions. This problem is especially important when we verify our hypothesis by several tests. Then, in many cases it is difficult to make a decision about the verified hypothesis if the tests indications are different and their powers alike. On the other hand, there is no need of using a couple of tests of a given class if their test functions are correlated. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
