Narrowest band-pass digital FIR filters

A closed form design of narrowest possible bandpass finite impulse response filters is presented. The underlaying generating polynomial has equiripple behaviour in two separate intervals. A novel degree equation is introduced. One example demonstrates the functionality of the design procedure.
