Optimal code generation based on modular system descriptions
O. Hyvarinen · 2003
Describes programmable general-purpose signal processor implementations and the related code generation methods. The stress is on the optimization of system implementations which are either described as a combination of multiple separate modules or else need to be partitioned to fit in the hardware. These modular system descriptions are discussed together with several hardware classes. The discussion covers single-chip programmable signal processors, tightly coupled multiprocessors, loosely coupled multiprocessors, and heterogeneous systems.>
