Managing technical information release
D.L. Flaherty Kizer · 2003
The author summarizes the overall process used by AT&T to manage information release. Each AT&T entity has a TIPC or Technical Information Protection Coordinator. A corporate-wide database enables the TIPC to perform many functions, including inputting information concerning the articles to be reviewed, requesting the opportunity to review another entity's documents, and updating clearance histories. The implementation of the system is discussed, and its benefits are highlighted.>
