Heat Flow and Geologic Age Relationship

Two significant feature emerge from the analysis of heat flow versus age : (1) in Pha- nerozoic provinces, heat flow decreases with time up to somewhat less than 400 My; and (2) there is a further, albeit small, decrease in heat flow in Archean provinces.
