Double scroll and cellular neural networks

A chaotic attractor that arises from an autonomous three-cell cellular neural network (CNN) is reported. It is shown that the attractor has a structure very similar to the double scroll attractor. Through some equivalent transformations, this circuit in three major subspaces of its state space is shown to belong to Chua's circuit family, although originating from a completely different field.>
