Linear phase realization of wave digital lattice filters

It is shown that wave digital lattice filters can easily be designed to have a linear phase in the pass band. A numerical example is given, which shows that, in particular for wave digital lattice filters with a bireciprocal characteristic function, efficient linear phase realizations can be obtained. >
