The F# Libraries

Robert B. Pickering, Kit Eason · Apress eBooks · 2016

Although F# can use all the classes available in the .NET BCL, it also ships with its own set of libraries, which can be found under the FSharp namespace. The objective of this chapter is not to completely document every nuance of every F# library type and function. It is to give you an overview of what the modules can do, with a particular focus on features that aren’t readily available in the BCL. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
