A service creation model for network spanning services
Peter Sties · 2002
The convergence of networks leads to an increasing demand for network spanning services. Due to short service life cycles, services have to be developed with out the need for platform or network modifications. This paper presents a service creation model that is characterized by a clear separation of service specification and technical implementation. It enables the use of di#erent existing 3rd party components for the provisioning of the service. Thus a service can be deployed on a variety of di#erent networks.
