Comparison of Methods of Estimating Transition Probability in Speech

Nicholas Schiavetti, John P. Burke · Language and Speech · 1974

Since the estimates derived from the two methods were highly correlated and yielded similar distributions, selection of forward guessing method by future investigators should be determined by subject v. time availability.
