Intelligent network basic call model rapid prototype
R.R. LeBlanc · 2002
A generic switching system is simulated in terms of basic call model (BCM) finite state machine states and connection view (CV) objects. Message communication between this simulated switching system and service logic execution environments (SLEEs) is modeled according to various protocol alternatives. A basic call model rapid prototype (BCMRP), implemented in a C-based Forth language system supporting a finite state machine language (FSML) and an object oriented language facility (2OOL) is described. The BCMRP provides an executable specification of the protocol choices made. It may be operated interactively, or in batch mode, using predefined scripts. Outputs from the model are used for requirements analysis and automated generation of test plans.>
