On Multivariate Wavelets with Trigonometric Vanishing Moments

Wavelets with trigonometric vanishing moments are studied for the first time. A practical construction algorithm of multivariate orthonormal wavelets with trigonometric vanishing moments is proposed. Based on such construction algorithm, a tight frame of L 2 (ℝd) can be obtained even at the worst case. An example of construction of bivariate orthonormal wavelets providing concrete trigonometric vanishing moments is presented.
