A Mobile Transit Information System Using Smart Phone

The development of cutting-edge ICT (Information and Communication Technology) is transforming the originally static distribution structure of Public Transit Information into a realtime distribution structure, and is accelerating an environmental shift in which users can individually choose and customize. This study proposes a direction for the development of Public Transit Information, which must be provided and managed in the mobile Web 2.0 era, and introduces MOTISAR, the Mobile Public Transit Information System, which supports individual activities in real-time.
