On q–deformed hyponormal operators

Abstract The present paper deals with operators in a Hilbert space related to the theory of quantum groups. Some results on q–deformed hyponormal operators extend ones on q–normal operators. For a q–deformed operator T the Cartesian decomposition of the inverse T–1 is characterized and the product BT with bounded operator B is analyzed, and a q–analogue of the Fuglede–Putnam theorem is discussed.
