A new method for analysing electroencephalogram signals

In this paper, a two-stage parameter estimation algorithm is proposed for estimating the parameters in a non-stationary signal model. This method is applied to the processing of electroencephalogram signals. The results appear to be satisfactory. Comments concerning some theoretical aspects of the algorithm are included.
