Perron‐Frobenius type results for the block numerical range

Abstract We survey results for the block numerical range of positive operators and Perron polynomials. It turns out that many properties of the block numerical range resemble the spectral properties known from Perron‐Frobenius theory for matrices and its generalisations to bounded linear operators.
