Requirements engineering for web applications entails new demands, compared to traditional software applications. This paper proposes a mockup-driven fastprototyping methodology to help elicit and finalize system requirements, as well as facilitate adjustments to quickly changing user requirements typical of web applications. This strategy minimizes the risk of wasting valuable development efforts because of ambiguous or incomplete requirement specifications.
