Analysis of asynchronous data transfer in communication system models for USB and Firewire

This paper presents an analysis of asynchronous data transfer in communication system models for USB and FireWire. The analysis shows the details of communication between the computer and mass storage and time of data transfer is estimated in these communication systems. Estimated value of execution time of data transfer allowed to specify a communication interface for mass storage.
