TMN and EML in the evolution of network management
B. Henderson, Salah Aidarous · 2002
This paper reviews two new network management frameworks, Bellcore's EML and CCITT's TMN. These concepts are discussed in the context of the fast changing, increasingly competitive environment of today's operating telecommunications company (OTC). A strategy is presented of how an OTC could evolve its present network management systems to take advantage of the benefits of TMN and EML.
