Frequency convertor simulation based on the SPICE J3 SCR model

The application of the features available for the SPICE program package to frequency converters is discussed. The model of the thyristor used is the three-junction J3 SCR model. As an example, the circuit of a frequency converter is given. On the basis of the SPICE program and the J3 SCR model, a frequency converter model was developed. The electromagnetic processes running in the converter were simulated and its stable model of operation was set.>
