O mapeamento sinestesico do gesto artistico em objeto sonoro

The gesture, always present in the creation of an artistic piece, being it a visual or musical artwork, has been recently explored by technological tools to allow its multi-modal interfacing. This article presents a synesthesic mapping of artistic gestures, formant of conceptual drawings, into sonic objects. The drawings images are here seen, not just as the aim, but rather as the representation of a dynamic process. They are the registry of a movement that embodies expressive intention. The resulting sound is here compounded by sonic objects that are formant units of a larger sonic system, self-organized into a dynamic soundscape.
