Ubicollab: improving collaboration with location services

In this paper we focus on the role of location in cooperative settings. We first sketch how information on users and devices location is used to support collaboration and discuss the implications for the design of location services for collaboration. We then present how Ubicollab, a collaborative platform that we are developing, can be extended to include location support.
