Multiprocessing With The Ti 9900
L. Howard Pollard · 2005
Increased data rates and accuracies have caused needs for increased computational power to process data at remote sites. multiprocessing with microprocessors is one solution to the processing problem. The processing approach calls for subdivid ing the processing into separate tasks, each of which are assigned to a processor for execution. The multiprocessor architecture consists of a Main Memory for data buffering, Processors as needed by the problem solution, and Local Memories for each processor. A modular approach to the hardware design utilizing shared buses is presented.
