An algebraic equation for feature correspondence across two views

We show how the relative viewing distance of two views of an object can be recovered from four point correspondences, from which we also derive an algebraic equation for feature matching across any two views of the same object. The results are applicable to finding stereo and motion correspondences and to object recognition.>
