The article deals with the description of trends of power supplies in the Ukrainian telecommunication sector. The basic normative documents regarding the design of the power supplies are pointed out. The requirements concerning the design of the power supplies are outlined. The peculiarities of the power supplies in Ukrainian telecommunications are given.
