ISAC (Image Save And Carry) Standardization

ISAC (Image Save And Carry) is an off-line system, where all medical informations including images as well as clinical data are stored in portable recording media. In order to establish the full compatibility, ISAC committee has been making a lot of efforts on the standardization works related to Magneto-optical disks. In this paper, with a brief review of the concept of ISAC system the activity of ISAC committee is reported, and ISAC forma.ts are also explained.
