Query Language for Enterprise Data Integration in SaaS Environment

In present, companies tend to construct high-quality information systems faster and cheaper in the field of enterprise information systems to respond to rapid change of business environment, using general business application packages or services, avoiding scratch development as much as they can. Plus, they promote to standardize the system used in each company which belongs to the same holdings, using method of shared service and SaaS (Software as a Service). Thus, application environment appears that any database has the same database schema along with penetration and popularization of general business application packages and services. In this paper, we propose the query language which enables to select target databases dynamically in response to tuples condition inside each database and the result of logical operations for multidatabases, and which enables to integrate data of multidatabase by expanding the existing multidatabase query language, MSQL. Keyword Data Integration,Query Language,Multidatabase,SaaS 1. まえがき 現在,企業は会社法・金融商品取引法による内部統 制の法制化,企業間の買収・合併,及び製品ライフサ イクルの短縮化等による事業環境の急激な変化に直面 している. それに伴い,企業の情報システム構築の現場では, 可能なかぎり手作りによるシステム構築は避け,汎用 的な業務アプリケーション・パッケージソフト(以下, パッケージと省略)を利用して,手作りによる自由度の 高さは犠牲にしながらも品質の高いシステムを早く・ 安く構築する傾向が強まっている .また,最近ではパッ ケージの発展形として,インターネットを通じて情報 システム業者が保有する業務アプリケーション機能を サービスとして利用する形態(以下,SaaS と記述)が生 まれ,大きく発展し始めている. また,単一企業のユーザによる業務改革・改善・効 率化を超えた動きも加速しており,企業グループ全体 での業務の最適化,及びサプライチェーン全体を巻き 込んだ業務の最適化・連携が進んでいる.シェアード サービス・センタはその典型的な例であり,グループ 内の複数企業の会計・人事等の業務機能を1つの会社 に集約し,また外部企業からも業務を請け負うことで 業務全体の費用対効果を向上させている. こうした状況の中で,データベースの独立性を保ち ながら複数企業が同一のシステムを共同利用する方式 が出始めており,以下の2点の要件が顕在化してきて いる. (1) データベースをまたがった問合せを行う. (2) 問合せ対象のデータベースが固定的ではなく変化 する. 例えば,連結会計処理の際に,自社の持つ株式の保 有比率に応じて連結処理を行う子会社を動的に選択し, その企業のデータベースから会計データを抽出すると いう問合せが上記要件に相当する. 本研究では,データベースをまたがった問合せが可 能な MSQL を拡張し,問合せ対象となるデータベース を動的に選択してデータ操作が可能な問合せ言語を提
