We have carried out a search for stable (tau>10 Y sec) anomalously interacting particles with charge Z = +- 1 in the mass range 1.0--1.8 GeV/cS. In the experiment we investigated secondary positively and negatively charged particles with average transverse momentum 3GeV/c produced as the result of interactions of 70-GeV protons with a lead target. Upper limits are obtained at the 90% confidence level for the invariant differential cross sections for production of anomalously interacting particles (1.8x10 TT--9.5x10 TS cmSxGeV S) per lead nucleus.
