Introduction to computer programming with JEROO: post-conference workshop

Computer programming, especially object-oriented programming, is often perceived as being difficult to learn and difficult to teach. Moreover, many students lose confidence early in a programming course. Computing teachers must deal with several concerns. Two of those concerns are especially difficult to solve, namely making the subject seem relevant and attracting female students.
