Modifying voice activity detection in low SNR by correction factors

In this paper, by using a new estimation algorithm, we present a novel method to improve the performance of VAD systems in various noisy environments. We study the performance of Gamma, Laplacian and Gaussian distributions in low SNR and then modify the best one with correction factors.
