Instability and deadlock of distributed dynamic channel allocation
Mutsumu Serizawa, D.J. Goodman · 2002
Distributed dynamic channel allocation (DDCA) techniques are vulnerable to undesirable effects such as interruption, call deadlock, and instability. Theoretical and simulation studies of these problems are described. The interactions of power control and channel allocation, and the tradeoffs between service interruption of existing calls and blocking of new calls are shown.
