In this paper we introduce the block-based vector-valued Thiele-like blending rational interpolation, to extend the point-based vector-valued Thiele-like interpolation to the block-based vector-valued Thiele-like blending rational interpolation. First of all, the original sets of support points was divided into some blocks (subsets), then constructs each block by using linear interpolation or rational interpolation, and finally assemble these blocks by Thiele's method to shape the whole interpolation scheme. Obviously, many flexible vector-valued rational interpolation schemes can be obtained with this method.
