A posteriori error analysis for multiscale stabilization of convection-diffusion reaction problems: unsteady state

We derive a residual a posteriori error estimator for time-dependent convection-diffusion-reaction problems stabilized by subgrid viscosity. The estimator yields an upper bound on the error which is global in space and time and a lower bound that is global in space and local in time.
