Error probabilities of bootstrapped blind adaptive cross-pol cancellers for M-ary QAM signals over non-dispersive fading channel

A. Dinc, Yeheskel Bar-Ness · 2003

The authors derive and compare the average probability of error of the boot-strapped blind canceller (BXPC) as a function of its input signal-to-noise ratio for three different structures of this canceller. They present the mathematical model of a dual-polarized channel. The different structures of the BXPC are described. A summary of the performance analysis of the BXPC for a dual-polarized M-ary quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) system over a nondispersive fading channel is presented. The results of these analyses are shown and compared. Also included are the results of the comparison of the performance of BXPC with that of the other cancellers.>
