openSDK: an open-source implementation of OPEN-R

This paper describes openSDK, an open-source implementa-tion of Sony's AIBO development kit (OPEN-R). openSDK is capable of running unmodified AIBO programs (only a recompilation is necessary) on a standard computer, us-ing a simulator at full frame rate (currently only USARSim is supported) or on a different robotic hardware platform. openSDK also offers standard debugging facilities for AIBO programs.
