This year has already seen a multitude of companies propose and launch new systems and devices in the rapidly developing field of wearable biometrics . Smart wearable devices (SWDs) are becoming an increasingly popular form of identification using biometric measurements and are set to replace traditional password and chip and pin authentication methods while continuing to assist both the fitness and medical industries.
