S>Effects of ethyl alcohol additions to water on strontium ion (labeled Sr/sup 90/) affinity to MnO/sub 2/ were studied. It is shown that with a change of the dielectric constant from 58.0 to 75.5 there is a linear relation, lg a (where a is the Langmuir isotherm parameter), to the reverse magnitude of the water-alcohol dielectric constant.
