Making our personal computers secure: tutorial presentation

We keep financial records, personal emails, tests and student grades on computers connected to the Internet. Hackers from around the world are scanning the Internet looking for vulnerable computers. None of us is completely secure. Most of us are at greater risk than we know. The objective of this tutorial is to address two important questions: 1) What are the security threats to our home and office computers? and 2) What can we do to protect our computer systems?
