So far, we have discussed the methods of backing up data. This chapter will explore some strategies for backing up specific applications. It will address three general types of data that are backed up in all environments: file system, database, and mail server. In addition, some general strategies regarding how to attack the backup of other types of applications will be addressed as well. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
