We will put together fuzzy expert systems and neural nets to design what we shall call a fuzzy teaching machine ( FTM ). A diagram of a FTM is shown in Figure 11.1. We shall discuss, in detail, all parts of this figure and then present an elementary example of a FTM at the end of the chapter. This chapter is derived from [1] – [4].
