A Variant Scenario in String Unification

We report a new solutipn to the problem related to the gauge coupling unification in superstring theories. Our solution is based on a dynamical assumption and it is applied to 4-dimensional string models. It is shown that these models have phenomenologically interesting features (three families, m₃/₂ ≃ O(1) TeV, the universal soft SUSY breaking terms, …).
