Some Common Puzzles and Their Solutions

In teaching mathematics for the last fifteen years, 1 have used many puzzles. Sometimes they are used as part of a regular class routine, whereas at other times they provide a reward to those students who finish their work early and who want the challenge of solving mind-boggling problems. The following puzzles are a few that my students have found exciting and challenging.
