Hand-held calculator makes dike computations

Sizing earthen dikes, used to contain flammable contents of above-ground storage tanks, by conventional methods is a time consuming, trial and error process. A program written by the author of the HP41CV hand-held calculator, equipped with a printer, gives a simplified method to calculate the height of the dike and the cubic yards of earth required.
