Spectrum efficiency of spread spectrum systems

D. L. Baerwald · 2003

The capabilities of direct-sequence pseudo-noise (DSPN) systems are compared with those of both conventional and trunked LMR systems. It is shown that not only do DSPN systems provide the same advantages over conventional systems as trunking systems, but also they provide many additional features as well without loss of spectrum conservation.>
