Security Awareness Training and Education in Organisations

This paper discusses support and guidance provided by governments concerning security awareness training and education. Based on the recommended guidelines by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)of the USA it investigates what technical and non-technical areas should be covered and how training and education should be done most efficiently. Recommendations about improving the efficiency of the training and education delivery and about evaluating their effectiveness are also provided.
