Research on the Cost Analysis System of Hydropower Ancillary Services Based on LabVIEW

Ancillary services are essential to ensure safe operation of Power system. The hydropower station's regulating feature gives it innate advantage to provide ancillary services. This paper firstly introduces the Ancillary services of power system,on that basis designs and develops a collecting and analyzing system of Hydroelectric Power Station Ancillary services by virtual instrument techniques,which provides a technical platform for the cost analysis of the ancillary services,and finally the system is applied to Wuxijiang power plant to analyze the cost of its ancillary services.
