Mixed dimensional clustering statistics

Recent work in the literature has made available theoretical predictions of clustering evolution at high redshift for comparison with observational data. The demonstrated dependence of the evolution on cosmological quantities such as Omega(0) and lambda(0) makes the comparisons an important consistency test for these parameters. Unfortunately, the accuracy of the observational data available on statistics such as xi(r, z) is often limited by the small amount of accurate distance information available from high-z galaxy samples. Large amounts of information on positions and magnitudes is, however, usually available. We present a method whereby reliable estimates of clustering statistics can be extracted from such limited information.
