Vocoded KING data base

Abstract : This document reports the development of a data base of vocoded speech that has been passed through several popular voice coders and their corresponding decoders. The KING data base consists of samples from 26 male speakers recorded sequentially on DAT tape. Two products were produced: five DAT tapes. each consisting of the original KING data base on one channel and the vocoded version on the other; and raw binary files, one for each vocoded and speaker combination.
