A Voice Coding Technique for Improved Hane Survivability
Kristina D. Branch, Raymond R. Choye, George H. E. Smith · 1988
Abstract : A voice coding technique based on the FFT is described. Word intelligibility tests show that the technique permits understandable speech to be reconstructed at 2400 bps, and that high intelligibility is maintained despite transmission bit errors of up to 10%. Keywords include: Digital voice coding, Transform coding, Communications in fading and FFT.
