Mathematical Modeling of Organic Compounds and of Their Physical Properties

The paper aims to illustrate the modelling of organic compounds by means of the concept of weighted electronic distance and the corresponding CEP connectivity matrix associated to it. A topological index derived from this matrix, called ZEP, that can be used to model the physical properties of several organic compounds, is also described.
